We've Come A Long Way ...

I attended a lecture by Constance Cumbey at Maranatha Church in Kansas City - circa 1983. This (She) was my first and only exposure to what I have come to realize as true prophecy. Constance spoke for the better part of two hours, smoothly and eloquently on a subject matter that, at that time, I had only recently begun to recognize as a peculiar socio-cultural phenomenon. Her "new age" framework and "rainbow" references were the puzzle that I was looking to assemble. I cannot begin to describe the content of her message, explain the meaning of the biblical connections that she made, or even recount her message. To do so, for me, would be pure folly. Suffice to say, she was right on ... and she doesn't even seem to KNOW that she was inhabited by the Spirit that night. Or does she? Every contention that she made, every image that she concieved and every detail that she portended has come true. The larger picture that she unvieled that night had all the pieces of the puzzle - that are today's unfathomable occurrances of our world today - in place. I only wish I could see/hear that sermon again. If I find a video or recording of Constance Cumbey's lecture from that night soooo many years ago, I will share it with you ... and you will see. It'll be worth the wait for me.
